DESCRIPTION
STENUM consults companies of every size and from many different branches, as well as public and private institutions in Austria and internationally. The starting point is a comprehensive analysis focusing on resource efficiency, energy efficiency and environmental management. Suggested measures taken from this bird´s eye view help clients to use resources efficiently, avoid unnecessary costs and emissions, develop new products and services and implement sustainability in a practical way. Collaboration with universities, research institutes and other experts ensures best-possible solutions. All in all STENUM clients have saved over 50 million Euros – account only first years savings – through increasing energy efficiency, reducing waste and using water and chemicals sparingly.
STENUM AND RESOURCE EFFICIENCY
The STENUM team works as trainer for resource efficiency at UNIDOs National Cleaner Production Center Programme and provides toolkits for implementation of resource efficiency in small and medium sized companies to UNEP (United Nations Environmental Programme), UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organisation) and Intelligent Energy Europe.
